President and CEO

Judge Griffith brings 30+ years of public sector experience, including 10 years as County Judge, the county’s Chief Elected official and 8 years as Sheriff, both in Jefferson County, Texas. During his tenure as the county’s CEO, Judge Griffith was heavily involved in economic development issues, negotiating more than $23 billion in commercial and industrial projects. His vision to expand and diversify the region’s economic base created thousands of jobs. In addition, he spearheaded the campaign to establish a Public Power Pool which is a non-profit political subdivision corporation designed to save taxpayer dollars by aggregating power usage to procure the most cost-effective contracts.
