An expert in both environmental and regulatory affairs, Dan Eden’s dual careers in both the public and private sectors provide him with insight into the highly technical regulatory world that can be invaluable to GMJ clients. Dan’s public sector experience includes 30 years of environmental regulatory work at the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), where he was Deputy Director of the Office of Permitting, Remediation and Registration. He was responsible for all air, water and waste permitting and remediation activities in Texas and has been able to use that knowledge and experience to assist corporate and municipal environmental managers solve their environmental regulatory issues. He also served as Executive Assistant to one of the TCEQ Commissioners and was involved in offering input on proposed rules, permits and enforcement policies. Dan also held numerous other management positions at TCEQ.
