Natacha Peláez-Wagner has a 34-year career working in planning, managerial, and executive positions in criminal justice and crime victim services, including 20 of those years in criminal justice consulting. She joined GMJ in October 2013 as the director of the firm’s criminal justice division. Prior to joining GMJ, she had a 13-year tenure at another national management consulting firm in its criminal justice practice area. During her tenure there she held positions as a consultant, senior consultant, senior associate, and principal in the firm, serving as a team member, team leader, project director or partner-in-charge and applying her skills on over 70 projects across the country and in Puerto Rico. Her background also includes serving in a criminal justice planning and coordination capacity in county government, and in executive positions in three crime victim services nonprofit organizations. She currently manages GMJ’s criminal justice client engagements.
Natacha has presented on criminal justice and crime victim services topics at numerous state and national conferences, including the American Correctional Association, the National Victim Center, the National Organization for Victim Assistance, and the U.S. Conference of Mayors. She is a member of the Texas Association of Pretrial Services and the Texas Victim Services Association. Past memberships include the Texas Jail Association and the Texas Association of Hispanics in Criminal Justice.
